Meet Kirby Sholl, our Chef de Cuisine!

We are so pleased to announce the promotion of Kirby Sholl to Chef de Cuisine here at Chaval! Kirby has been working alongside Damian and Ilma for years. He has been a source of creativity and collaboration for countless dishes and events and has demonstrated his dedication and passion time and time again. It is truly well-deserved and we are thrilled to see what we accomplish next with his leadership in the kitchen.

Join us for Paella Monday!

We are excited to be featuring one of the great loves of Spanish cuisine: paella! Each Monday we offer a new take on the traditional dish and each paella, served in portions of two, is made fresh to order.

Be sure to hurry in! We only make ten each Monday!

Please note, that we do not accept reservations on our paella to allow everyone a fair chance to enjoy!

Another exciting year of Portland Wine Week!

We are thrilled to participate in another year of Portland Wine Week! This year, we are offering five different events here at Chaval featuring a variety of topics and styles of wine. During that week, guests can also find our very own Chefs Damian Sansonetti and Ilma Jeil Lopez participating in other events around town.

We love wine here at Chaval and enjoy the process of choosing each wine that makes it to our menu. We hope that you will join us to celebrate that passion this June!
